The Kings Legacy Chardonnay (6 x 750ml - 14%)
The King’s Legacy Chardonnay is a dry white wine. It has an elegant, finely structured palate that wraps creamy nougat, ripe citrus and white fleshed stone fruit flavours around a long, linear core of juicy acidity.

The King’s Legacy Chardonnay has alluring aromas of melon, nectarine, citrus, with a supporting oak background. Stone fruit and mealy flavours carry through to the palate which are supported by subtle flint and nutty notes from the extended time on lees. Partial malolactic fermentation has helped to soften the palate while the residual acidity leads the wine to a dry, lingering finish.
Brent Marris, Marlborough born and raised, spent years as a youngster exploring the landscape of his home region. He put that exploration to good use when, in 2003, he started his search for a vineyard property. The site he chose was 268ha of vineyards on the banks of the Waihopai River, on the southern side of the Wairau Valley. From here, Brent started Marisco Vineyards and achieved international success with his wines, most notably with his flagship brand 'The Ned'.
