Terms and Conditions

Limitation of liability, corporate order and customer satisfaction information.

The Terms and Conditions set out below have been constructed and will be adhered to in all circumstances for the benefit of Fine Wine Sellers and its customers.


You will be charged £4.99 per delivery address, irrespective of the number cases you order. Deliveries can be made to anywhere in the United Kingdom including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles and the Highlands of Scotland - for the Scottish Islands please call . Normal deliveries are from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If you can let us know a safe place where we can leave your wine in the event of you being out, this will help to ensure you get your wine as quickly as possible. You can have the wine delivered to you in person if you prefer and, if you are out, the driver will leave a card and you will be able to arrange a new delivery at a time to suit you.

Returns, Breakages and Stolen Goods

If some or all of the bottles of wine in a case are broken or spoiled when they are delivered you should notify us as soon as possible. You may choose either to return the whole case or just the affected bottles for a refund. If any bottles are broken, the delivery driver will need to collect the whole case including the damaged bottles. Where possible, any wines collected must be in their original box to avoid further breakages. You must notify us of any wines for return within 7 days of delivery. At times certain wines may become unavailable. If this should occur and affect your order, we will substitute a similar wine of the same or greater value. If there is a particular wine that you are wishing to source and cannot find it on our site please email us at or call and we will be more than happy to try and assist you.

Customer Satisfaction

If you are disappointed with Fine Wine Sellers performance in any way then please contact us immediately at or by calling . At Fine Wine Sellers we aim to deal with all enquiries and complaints quickly and fairly. All attempts will be made to deal with your query immediately but in instances where we cannot, we will keep you informed about the progress until a resolution has been reached. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve on our service, then please do let us know

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling inclusive of VAT (unless otherwise specified) and are per bottle or per case, as indicated. Delivery charges are extra. We can accept payment by Switch, Visa, MasterCard (we currently do not accept AMEX but please contact us at or call if this causes you any issues in purchasing). We reserve the right to withdraw any special offer without notice at any time.

Age restriction

At Fine Wine Sellers we are committed to not only great product and service but also care and responsibility to our customers, therefore we can only sell wine to anyone who is 18 years old or over. By placing an order with us you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old. Wines can only be purchased as gifts if the recipient is also 18 years or older. After the wine has been delivered, it becomes the recipient’s responsibility. Once the wine has been delivered, according to your original delivery instructions, it becomes the recipient’s responsibility.


You may cancel your order at any time prior to delivery with no charge incurred. Any payments taken will be fully refunded. Any orders cancelled after they have been dispatched will be collected and a refund for the goods only will be given minus the delivery charge.

Corporate Orders

We are happy to receive corporate enquiries through our web site,, by email to or by phone on . We accept payment from corporate customers by Switch, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, bank transfer and cheque. In the case of payment by bank transfer and cheque, orders will only be dispatched when cleared funds have been received in Fine Wine Sellers bank account.

Limitation of liability

We will not be liable for loss or damage caused by handling of the wine by the customer, for example, spillages or breakages which occur after delivery.

Health and Safety

Alcohol should be consumed in moderation. A case of wine is heavy and extra care should be taken when lifting it. Champagnes and sparkling wines can be unpredictable due to the build-up of gases and extra care should be taken when opening them.

Data Protection

By providing your details to Fine Wine Sellers, you are consenting to Fine Wine Sellers maintaining, recording, holding and using the information you give to process your orders, to improve our service and let you know about promotions. All data is collected lawfully and maintained in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We take your privacy very seriously and will not pass your details to any third party without your permission, except where we have to do so to get your wine to you, for example, to our delivery company.

Right to Terminate

These terms and conditions are here for the good of all of our customers. If we feel that they have been abused, we reserve the right to close your account.

Right to Change

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions without prior notification.
