The Kings Favour Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (6 x 750ml - 13%)
The King’s Favour Sauvignon Blanc has a lively nose featuring aromas of passionfruit, blackcurrant leaf and an underlying hint of bell pepper. On the palate, there are flavours of honeydew melon, gooseberry and citrus, while still carrying a herbaceous freshness. A deliciously dry wine with texture, minerality, and juicy acidity. The perfect aperitif and delicious served with vegetarian or fish dishes.

Brent Marris, Marlborough born and raised, spent years as a youngster exploring the landscape of his home region. He put that exploration to good use when, in 2003, he started his search for a vineyard property. The site he chose was 268ha of vineyards on the banks of the Waihopai River, on the southern side of the Wairau Valley. The De Marisco’s descended from William de Marisco who was said to be one of 35 illegitimate children of King Henry the First. Brent created this range in homage to his royal ancestors.
