The farming community of the Boland Winelands, just outside Cape Town, are known as the “Kleine Kaap”. The Boland Winelands are very close to Cape Town, therefore they refer to Cape Town as “Groot Kaap” (Big Cape) and to the Boland Winelands as “Kleine Kaap” (Little Cape).
