Pascual Toso Malbec presents ripe fruit aromas on the nose, with notes of plums and quince complemented by a touch of refined oak. On the palate, flavours of blackberry and liquorice unfold, leading to a rich, extended finish with smoky vanilla accents and lingering oak. This wine pairs beautifully with pasta in tomato sauce or, naturally, a traditional Argentine-style steak.
In the mid-1880s, Pascual Toso left his hometown of Canale D’Alba in Piedmont, Italy, for Argentina, where he founded his namesake winery. Since its establishment in 1890, Bodegas y Viñedos Pascual Toso has become one of Argentina's oldest and most prestigious wineries. Staying true to its founding values - tradition, authenticity, and innovation - the winery embarked on a new high-quality wine project in 2001, led by renowned winemaking consultant Paul Hobbs, in collaboration with chief winemaker Rolando Luppino, focusing on the production of premium and super-premium wines.
