Kamiki is a unique blended malt whisky, created by combining Japanese malt whiskies with carefully selected malts from other regions. Following the blending process, the whisky is finished in casks made from yoshino-sugi, or Japanese cedar, giving Kamiki the distinction of being the world's first whisky to undergo this type of finishing.
In this exclusive edition, the whisky is aged for an extended period in cedar casks, resulting in a deeper and more complex flavour. It reveals fragrant notes of citrus blossom and baked apple, alongside hints of balsa wood and dry peat. The nose is dominated by floral aromas, with delicate undertones of forest floor, apricot, and kumquat. On the palate, a slight pepperiness is balanced by earthy vanilla pod and a subtle trace of pine.
Kamiki's innovative use of yoshino-sugi casks imparts a rich, aromatic finish, offering an exceptional whisky experience unlike any other.
