The vineyard spans 45.5 acres, divided into 27 meticulously hand-farmed parcels, each contributing unique characteristics from a mosaic of ideal soils and diverse geological features. Crafted from the estate’s oldest vines, Fleur De Fonplégade is farmed using organic and biodynamic practices, ensuring the highest quality in every cluster. Aging for 16 to 20 months takes place in a combination of vessels: 50% new French oak barrels, 30% in one-year-old French oak, and the remaining 20% split between egg-shaped concrete vessels and amphoras. This meticulous aging process enhances the wine’s depth and elegance, allowing the terroir's character to shine through in every vintage, a true testament to its Bordeaux heritage.
