This beer style was, in a way, discovered by accident. When we first started exporting our award-winning brew around the globe, we brewed a stronger, hoppier concentrate intended to be diluted with water at its destination. However, we soon learned that it wasn’t being diluted at all, and consumers loved the extra hoppy flavour. This unexpected turn of events changed the beer world forever, giving birth to the world-renowned Dortmunder Export style.
