Delivery
You will be charged £6.50 per delivery address, irrespective of the number cases you order. Deliveries can be made to anywhere in the United Kingdom including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles and the Highlands of Scotland - for the Scottish Islands please call 0870 262 6636.
Normal deliveries are from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If you can let us know a safe place where we can leave your wine in the event of you being out, this will help to ensure you get your wine as quickly as possible.
You can have the wine delivered to you in person if you prefer and, if you are out, the driver will leave a card and you will be able to arrange a new delivery at a time to suit you.
Returns, Breakages and Stolen Goods
If you give us a safe place where we can leave your wine, as described above, and the wine goes missing, we will send you another case free of charge.
If some or all of the bottles of wine in a case are broken or spoiled when they are delivered you should notify us as soon as possible. You may choose either to return the whole case or just the affected bottles for a refund. If any bottles are broken, the delivery driver will need to collect the whole case including the damaged bottles. Where possible, any wines collected must be in their original box to avoid further breakages.

All refunds will be paid within 30 days of our receiving your notification of your wish to return wine, provided the wine has been collected by our carrier.
Quality Promise
In the event of you not liking a bottle of our wine, we will credit your account for its full cost. If you have bought a whole case of one type of wine which you don’t like, we will collect the rest of the wine from you and refund the cost of the whole case including delivery, provided that you have only drunk one bottle from it.
Price Promise
At Fine Wine Sellers we work hard to provide the highest quality wines at the lowest possible prices but, in the event of you buying wine from us and finding, within 14 days, the same wine for sale in the UK at a cheaper price, (excluding promotions, special offers or sale prices) we will refund the difference.
Availability
At times certain wines may become unavailable. If this should occur and affect your order, we will substitute a similar wine of the same or greater value.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling inclusive of VAT (unless otherwise specified) and are per bottle or per case, as indicated. Delivery charges are extra. We can accept payment by Switch, Visa, MasterCard or Amex.
Any discounts from previous Fine Wine Sellers prices are based on those prices advertised on our website that were available for at least 28 consecutive days in the previous 6 months. Where an offer is for a mixed case with a general discount applied, this relates to the previously advertised prices for the individual wines which make up the case.
We reserve the right to withdraw any special offer without notice at any time.
Age restriction
We can only sell wine to anyone who is 18 years old or over. By placing an order with us you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old. Wines can only be purchased as gifts if the recipient is also over 18 years old. After the wine has been delivered, it becomes the recipient's responsibility.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order at any time prior to delivery with no charge incurred. Any payments taken will be fully refunded.
Fine Wine Sellers Club
If you join our Wine Club or one of our affiliate wine clubs you will receive a case of carefully selected wine approximately every three months. We will inform you of the contents of your next case when we deliver your current order.
Any introductory offer for joining our Club can only be redeemed once and by accepting such an offer you will not be entitled to any other such offers from Fine Wine Sellers or our affiliates. If you have taken up such an offer from Fine Wine Sellers or our affiliates in the past, you can still rejoin the Club by purchasing your first case at the normal RRP. Introductory Wine Club offers cannot be combined with other offers and affiliate vouchers or Fine Wine Sellers Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with a Wine Club introductory offer.
You can skip or cancel a suggested case at any time prior to its due delivery date by telephoning our call centre on 0870 262 6636. Otherwise, we will deliver the wine to the same address as your last Wine Club delivery and charge you the notified price of the wine plus delivery at £6.50.

By joining the Club, you consent to us holding and using your credit card, or other card details, for the purpose of obtaining payment for each case of wine whilst you are a member of the Club.
Corporate Orders
We are happy to receive corporate enquiries through our web site, www.finewinesellers.co.uk , by email to corporate@finewinesellers.co.uk or by phone on 0870 262 6636.
We accept payment from corporate customers by Switch, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, bank transfer and cheque. In the case of payment by bank transfer and cheque, orders will only be dispatched when cleared funds have been received in Fine Wine Sellers bank account.

We aim to deal with all enquiries fairly, confidentially and quickly. Limitation of liability
We will not be liable for loss or damage caused by handling of the wine by the customer, for example, spillages or breakages which occur after delivery.
Health and Safety
Alcohol should be consumed in moderation.
A case of wine is heavy and extra care should be taken when lifting it.
Champagnes and sparkling wines can be unpredictable due to the build up of gases and extra care should be taken when opening them.
Data Protection
By providing your details to Fine Wine Sellers, you are consenting to Fine Wine Sellers maintaining, recording, holding and using the information you give to process your orders, to improve our service and let you know about promotions. All data is collected lawfully and maintained in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We take your privacy very seriously and will not pass your details to any third party without your permission, except where we have to do so to get your wine to you, for example, to our delivery company.
Right to Terminate
These terms and conditions are here for the good of all of our customers. If we feel that they have been abused, we reserve the right to close your account.
Right to Change
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions without prior notification. |
