Fonseca's Terra Prima port is a full bodied reserve blend made from grapes produced from organic farming in the Cima Corgo area of the Douro Valley. The spirit used to fortify this port was also produced from organically grown grapes. Fonseca has over a decade of experience in organic viticulture in the Douro Valley and wa one of the first port houses to develop and apply organic methods in its vineyards. Aged to maturity in oak vats, Fonseca's Terra Prima expresses the natural fruity richness of the traditional Douro Valley grape varieties.
