Gamla Sangiovese was produced from Sangiovese grapes grown in the Golan Heights. Cool climate, rocky volcanic soil and high altitude are ideal conditions for growing this classic Tuscan grape variety. Aging for twelve months in oak barrels balances the floral , wild berry and light earthy notes of this Sangiovese with nuances of spice and vanilla. Enjoy with steaks right off the grill or with pasta dishes rich in fresh herbs.
