With yield of just 1kg / vine, intense fruit concentration to be expected – and is present – in this true blockbuster ! Tannat is a grape which takes time to mature, so harvest doesn’t take place until April. Remains in tank for 14 months prior to bottling.
Intense dark ruby colour. Pronounced notes of dried plums, mulberry and blueberry, evolving towards cacao and coffee. Shows great structure on the palate, full bodied with firm, mature tannins and with high alcohol well integrated. Persistent on the finish, with refreshing acidity. As always with Lidio, no oak is used but that doesn’t stop potential for this wine to age much longer.
Only produced in the finest vintages.
