A dark ruby garnet, violet tinges. On the nose there are aromas of cherries and blackberries, praline, and some tobacco. On the palate juicy and dense, with exquisite fruit. Good tannic structure, good balancing acidity, some minerals and vanilla. Tremendous stuff which will age well for 5+ years. Very appealing; drink with red meats and fine cheeses.
